AWE Bucket Elevator
AWE Bucket Elevators are used to elevate bulk materials vertically. A Bucket Elevator consists of a series of buckets attached to a belt or chain with pulleys or sprockets located at the top and bottom of the unit. The buckets are encased to protect and contain the material being elevated. The bulk material is loaded into each bucket as it passes an inlet point. AWE Bucket Elevators can easily handle capacity requirements of up to 1000T per hour.

Components Of A Bucket Elevator
Trunk/casing: Constructed from 2/3mm quality steel in sections, flanged for true alignment and easy installation in a neatly designed single or split leg arrangement.
Belt: Belting consists of polyester/polyamide woven low stretch carcase, with styrene butadiene rubber covers as standard or nitrile (oil resistant) covers as an option. Food quality or head resistant belts are also available.
Buckets: Quality pressed steel buckets are designed to give maximum throughput while still maintaining the perfect fill and discharge characteristics. Optional plastic or stainless steel buckets are available, just ask the sales team.
Finish: Standard – painted cream enamel. Options include galvanised steel, hot dipped galvanised special paint finishes or corrosion resistant steels, let the sales team know what you need.
Drive: Shaft mounted direct drive fitted with a brake motor or a vee belt drive arrangement, utilising a shaft mounted gearbox complete with anti run back. The drive type depends on the size of the elevator. Both types use IP55 weatherproof motor units.
Boot Section: Available in a variety of configurations with a close tolerance to boot, or a pit boot depending on the level of cleanliness required. Boots are able to be removed as needed for ease of cleaning.
Head Section: All supplied with an adjustable discharge lip to ensure adequate discharge of materials. Head sections come in a variety of configurations which vary according to the boot section requirements. Types of head available include high velocity, standard, direct drive or belt.
